Revitalizing Rolfing® with a comprehensive, strategic rebrand.
The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration engaged Studio Oi for an extensive rebrand and ongoing strategy. Developed in the 1970s by Dr. Ida Rolf, the modality known as ‘Rolfing®’ is a pioneering 10-step holistic, deep-tissue bodywork therapy focused on fascia. Addressing the disconnect between Rolfing® and its founder was crucial, as was correcting the public’s limited understanding of its prestige and legacy.
Studio Oi executed a comprehensive strategy that included extensive research on competitors, students, faculty, and practitioners using various methods, including focus groups and interviews. We managed every aspect of the rebrand, from design and branding to copywriting, digital outputs, collateral outputs and more, beginning with a name change to the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute®. The client and Studio Oi have an ongoing partnership on a retainer and adhoc basis.
