Pia Dorer

Pia is a brand and communications executive with twenty-plus years’ of experience spanning multiple industries. Her deep experience in brand strategy, marketing, design, web, print, film, and social media are just a few ways that she leverages storytelling to strategically position her clients ensuring they make an impact.

Pia resided in the USA for more than a decade during which time she served as the Marketing & Design Manager at Davies, a leading US public affairs firm. Pia provided creative solutions in design, events, and video production for the firm and its clients, working closely with the healthcare, pharma, energy, real estate and mining practices. Her design work on many award-winning campaigns in led to clearly communicated messaging and inspired grassroots, community action.  

In 2012, after relocating to live between Sydney and SantaBarbara, she launched Studio Oi assembling an outstanding team of industry veterans. The goal was to create an innovative team approach that would benefit their clients and allow them to work more personally with clients. Clients include a host of international and local companies and non-profits includingMorton Wealth, Mutual Group, Avvir, Procore, Montecito Bank & Trust, Dr IdaRolf Institute, Orion Consulting, Ascend Tax Advisors, Stream, Bears of Hope,TEDx Santa Barbara, Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, The WhaleSanctuary Project, Sport and the Spectrum, Lieber Films, Bethany Hamilton, Clearitt, and Home Instead.

Pia is married with three children and an adventurous Labrador who serve as a constant inspiration to look at life from different perspectives and keep things authentic.  She is a volunteer lifeguard on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and is active in service to several non-profits.
