With over 20 years of career highlights, Kate has excelled in print and digital publications, media, and content marketing production agencies.
Starting with her dream job as editor of SurfGIRL magazine, Kate skyrocketed to hold editor or manager positions on 18 magazine titles spanning diverse interests. These included triple j, Disney Adventures, rage 30th Anniversary, Dance Academy, ABC3, Octonauts, Mardi Gras 40th Anniversary, Giggle & Hoot, The Wiggles, Organic Gardener and more, at EMAP, ACP/Bauer and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Transitioning from publishing companies, Kate honed her passion for content marketing and strategy in agency leadership positions. At Suddenly (a News Corp agency), she served as Woolworths Fresh editor, overseeing magazine management and omnichannel content strategy. Later, as the Creative Account Director at L&A Social/Tag, Kate embraced diverse responsibilities, including copywriting, content writing, content strategy and ideation, account management and leading a team of 12 creatives. Notable brands Kate worked directly with include Tresemmé, Air Asia, Kennards Hire, World Nomads, Travel Insurance Direct, DHL, Ampol, Riverina Dairy, Vialto Partners, and more.
